Internalisasi Nilai Karakter melalui Program Upgrade Diri untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas Sumber Daya Siswa

Abstract

This community service activity aims to internalize character values and enhance the quality of student human resources through a Self-Upgrade program. The activity was conducted at SMK PGRI 2 Kediri, Kediri City, East Java Province, in the form of a guest lecturer session utilizing a Service Learning approach that integrates real-world experiences into the learning process. The methods included material presentation, interactive discussions, educational games, and self-reflection. The content focused on the concept of "self-upgrade," which encompasses four main pillars: spirituality, character, discipline, and social relations. The results indicate an improvement in students' understanding of self-management and the importance of internalizing character values in daily life. Active participation and high enthusiasm among participants served as key indicators of the program's success. Furthermore, the activity strengthened collaboration between higher education institutions and schools in fostering students' character development. Therefore, this program can serve as an applicable Service Learning model based on spiritual values in shaping students who are not only academically competent but also emotionally and spiritually mature.
