Pelatihan Penggunaan Accurate Online Sebagai Upaya Mempersiapkan Calon Akuntan yang Kompetitif di Dunia Kerja

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has fundamentally transformed the landscape of the accounting profession, where proficiency in accounting software has become an essential technical competency that every prospective professional accountant must possess. This community service activity aims to enhance the technical competency of students in the Accounting Study Program at Nahdlatul Ulama University of Sidoarjo in using Accurate Online, as an effort to prepare competitive and work-ready prospective accountants in the era of accounting digitalization. The method employed in this activity was Participatory Action Research, which positioned participants as active subjects through a combination of three stages, namely the delivery of theoretical materials, live demonstration of application usage, and practical simulation of an accounting cycle case study for a trading company using Accurate Online. The results of the activity demonstrated a significant improvement in participants' cognitive competencies, as reflected in the increase of the average score from pre-test to post-test by 38.6 points, rising from 43.5 to 82.1. The improvement encompassed several dimensions, including conceptual understanding, procedural skills, analytical ability, comprehension of inter-module integration, and self-confidence in using accounting software.
