The partner of PKM activity is the Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo High School Library. The main problem identified was the lack of effectiveness in recording visitor attendance due to the use of a manual recording system. As a result, visitor data is inaccurate, making it difficult to determine the level of library usefulness. As a solution, the team developed a prototype design for an automatic RFID-based low-cost security gate (LCSG) that is more efficient than commercial products. The activity implementation used the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) method, with the activity processes: 1) needs analysis (define), 2) identification of potential assets owned (discovery), 3) investment cost analysis (dream), 4) creating a prototype design and construction (design), 5) FGD to obtain feedback (deliver). PKM success indicators were achieved. The Investment Savings Ratio was 78.4%, while the accuracy of visit data has the potential to increase by 95%. The design of the LCSG is not only a technical innovation, but also a strategic managerial instrument that supports the achievement of effective, efficient, and sustainable library governance.
