Abstract

The UMKM Bercerita program is an established local media initiative of Radar Blitar TV that focuses on presenting inspirational stories of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) as part of community economic empowerment. This community service activity was conducted through the synergy between students of the Communication and Islamic Broadcasting (KPI) program at UIN Syekh Wasil Kediri and Radar Blitar TV as a local media partner. The activity was motivated by the need to strengthen MSME empowerment through educational and inspirational media content that is accessible to the wider community. The service learning method was applied by involving students directly in content planning, production assistance, and digital publication processes. The results of the activity indicate that this collaboration contributes to increased visibility of MSMEs, strengthened entrepreneurial motivation, and improved confidence among business actors in utilizing digital media. This program demonstrates the strategic role of collaboration between higher education institutions and local media in supporting MSME empowerment through participatory communication.
