Pelatihan Penyusunan Landasan Filosofis Sejarah Lokal pada Masyarakat Kelurahan Heledulaa Selatan, Kecamatan Kota Timur, Kota Gorontalo

Abstract

This community engagement program was implemented to enhance the understanding of residents in Heledulaa Selatan Village, Kota Timur District, Gorontalo City regarding the importance of philosophical foundations in the development of local history. The implementation method employed a service-learning approach consisting of needs identification and planning, execution, and evaluation. The results indicate an increased public awareness of the moral, spiritual, and social values embedded in local history. Participants were able to relate historical narratives to the formation of social identity and character. The impact of the program extended beyond improving historical literacy, contributing as well to strengthening the community’s appreciation of regional cultural heritage. The findings conclude that this training successfully integrated academic and sociocultural dimensions into a sustainable community service activity.
