Abstract

The Safari Dongeng program at Yatim Mandiri Tulungagung is an innovative strategy for zakat fundraising that utilizes storytelling to build an emotional connection with the audience. This study aims to optimize human resource (HR) management within the program to enhance fundraising effectiveness. The methods used in this study include storyteller training, digital media utilization, and HR management through data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of storytelling in zakat fundraising strategies. The digitalization of fundraising through platforms such as Instagram (@yatimmandiri.tulungagung), YouTube, WhatsApp, and Facebook has proven effective in expanding audience reach and increasing the number of donors. The results indicate that combining storytelling with digital strategies contributes to greater public participation in zakat, with a fundraising achievement of IDR 51,000,000 in January as a key success indicator. With more structured HR management, continuous training, and the use of digital technology, the Safari Dongeng program is expected to continue growing and providing greater benefits for orphans and underprivileged communities.
